When a client opens your website or a recruiter scrolls your LinkedIn page, your team's faces are often the first thing they see. Mismatched selfies, old holiday crops and a dozen different backgrounds quietly say "we haven't got round to it." A consistent set of corporate headshots in Dubai says the opposite: this team is organised, approachable and serious about its work.
I'm Zahra, and I photograph teams across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Ajman. My background is in architecture, so I care a lot about clean lines, balanced light and the small details that make a portrait look polished without looking stiff. Here's how I approach team headshots, and how you can get the most out of a session.
Why Consistency Matters More Than a Single Great Photo
One look across the whole team
The magic of a team headshot set is that every person looks like they belong to the same company. That means the same background, the same lighting direction, a similar crop and a similar colour edit. When someone joins in six months, we can match the look so your "Meet the Team" page never feels patched together.
Trust at first glance
People decide whether they trust a business very quickly. A warm, natural headshot (relaxed shoulders, a genuine expression, eyes that connect with the camera) does a lot of that work for you on proposals, speaker profiles, press releases and email signatures.
Practical for HR and marketing
A planned session gives HR and marketing a usable library in one go: website crops, LinkedIn squares, and versions with a little extra space for designers to place text.
How a Team Headshot Session Works
1. A short planning call
We start with the basics: how many people, where your offices are, the look you want (bright and modern, darker and more executive, or something in between) and where the images will be used. If you already have brand colours or existing headshots, send them over and I'll match or refresh the style.
2. On-site setup at your office
For most teams, I come to you. I set up a compact portable backdrop and lighting in a meeting room or a quiet corner, so people can step out of their day for a few minutes and get straight back to work. If you'd rather have a mix of studio-style portraits and natural "at work" images around the office, we can plan both.
3. A relaxed few minutes per person
Most people tell me they hate being photographed. That's completely normal. I keep it light, give simple directions ("chin slightly forward, now think of someone you like") and show people the back of the camera so they can see it's working. Comfort first always gives better expressions than stiff posing.
4. Selection and editing
Each person's best frames are edited for a natural, timeless finish: even skin tones, tidy flyaway hairs, consistent colour. Nothing that makes someone look unlike themselves in a meeting. Turnaround depends on the size of the team and is confirmed at booking.
What Your Team Should Wear
- Solid colours in mid-tones (navy, charcoal, soft blue, burgundy, cream) photograph best. Avoid tiny checks and stripes, which can shimmer on screen.
- Well-fitted layers. A blazer or structured top adds shape even in a tight crop.
- Agree on a dress level. Suits and ties for some and T-shirts for others can look uneven. Share a simple brief beforehand.
- Bring a backup top. Ten seconds of changing saves a reshoot.
- Hair and grooming done the day before or that morning, not a dramatic new cut.
Corporate Headshots vs Personal Branding
A headshot is a clean, consistent portrait for profiles and directories. Personal branding goes further: lifestyle images of you working, meeting clients and telling your story, which suits founders, consultants and coaches. Many leaders book both. If that sounds like you, read my guide to personal branding photography sessions in Dubai or see the Personal Branding Photographer page.
Pricing and Booking
For individuals and small teams, my photography packages start at AED 1,200 for a 30-minute session with 10 edited images, with 60, 90 and 120-minute options up to AED 2,600. Larger teams, multi-office days or recurring new-starter sessions are quoted on request so you only pay for what you need. Travel fees may apply outside Dubai.
Clients rate my work 4.9 on Google, and I reply to every enquiry within 24 hours. Find out more on my corporate headshot photographer in Dubai page, or send me your team size and dates.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you come to our office in Dubai?
Yes. Most corporate headshot sessions happen on-site. I bring a portable backdrop and lighting, and need a room or quiet corner with a little space.
How long does each person take?
Usually just a few minutes. We plan a schedule around your team's calendar so nobody is away from their desk for long.
Can new team members be matched later?
Yes. I keep a note of the setup, background and edit so new starters can be photographed to match your existing set.
How much do corporate headshots cost in Dubai?
Packages start from AED 1,200 for 30 minutes (10 edited images). Larger teams get a custom quote based on headcount and locations.
When will we receive the photos?
Turnaround depends on the size of the shoot and is confirmed at booking.
